This year registration for all timed races will be online only. This includes the free kids’ runs. Registration for all of our events will close the day or evening before the race . This is necessary to improve efficiency on race day, especially with respect to starting the races on time. Thank you for your understanding.

The third Humber Valley Marathon (10 km, half-marathon (21.1 km) and full marathon (42.2 km), brought to you by Brothers & Associates, will be held on 02 October 2016. By popular demand we are using last year’s route, starting and finishing at Marble Mountain. See the Events page for more information, including a link to the registration site. Note: Only on-line registration for this event.
All three distances are certified by Athletics Canada
For the New York City (NYC) marathon the focus is now on qualifying races staged by the New York Road Runners(NYRR), which organizes the NYC Marathon. However, a limited number of spots are available for non NYRR qualifiers. For Boston there have always been qualifying times based on age and gender but now, due to the increasing number of runners who attain a qualifying time, the organizers have implemented a roll-down registration procedure whereby the fastest runners in each age group (those who exceed the stated qualifying times) get to register in descending order until all spaces are taken.
Both the half-marathon and the marathon distance can be used to qualify for NYC, but only the marathon for Boston.

After reviewing the survey results, and taking into account logistical factors the CBRC Board made the following route decisions at their March meeting.
The marathon route will be the same as in 2015, i.e. starting and finishing at Marble Mountain and heading along the TCH to the North Shore turnoff, back into Steadybrook and onto Marble Drive, turning around close to the Humber Village exit to head back to Marble Mountain for a total of 21.1 km (half-marathon distance). Full marathoners will repeat the circuit and 10 km runners will run along Marble Drive for five km before returning to Marble Mountain. We plan to have this route certified well before the event takes place.
The Downtown Dash Route will revert to the previous four-loop run around Park and West Street.
