The Brothers and Associates Fall Classic is a 5 km / 10 km / 21.1 km road race in the beautiful Humber Valley.
Date: Sunday, October 2, 2022

21.1 km – 9:00 am
10 km – 9:00 am
5 km – 10:30 am
Please check in at Marble Mountain Parking area at least 30 mins before your start time.
Looking for a challenge, but not quite up to running the half marathon? Sign up for a special Double-in-a Day Run! Line up for the 10 km and again 1.5 hours later for the 5 km run.

Registration for the In-person & Virtual 2021 Brothers and Associates Fall Classic 5k/10k/21.1k happening on October 3rd, 2021 opens tomorrow morning, September 7th at 8am.
Again this year we will be collecting used Running OR Casual shoes, so please bring any donations you may have with you.

The third annual Here for BEER is back!
The Corner Brook Running Club is once again partnering with Veitch Physiotherapy and Wellness and Bootleg Brew Co. to combine running and beer.
Registration will include a limited 2021 Bootleg Brew Co & Corner Brook Running Club pint glass & a pint of beer. More info to follow! This is a 19 plus event.
The in person race event will be capped at 55 people to accommodate COVID 19 restrictions and seating areas in Bootleg Brew Co.
REGISTRATION IS ONLINE ONLY HERE AND CLOSES August 17, 2021, AT 8:00PM. THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

We are just a few days away from the Brothers & Associates Fall Classic.
Here are a few important things to note:
Bib Pick Up:
Pick up for bibs and timing chips will start 30 minutes before your expected race time. All runners are asked to social distance while waiting in the start area. Return your chip immediately after finishing.
Start Area:
Runners will start in 30 s intervals with the fastest runners in the front. All time will be chip time. When you cross the start line is when YOUR time starts. If you have to pass a runner on the course, please call out and pass on their RIGHT with lots of space.
Course rules:
We ask that you do not run with headphones. Dogs on leash / strollers will be permitted since the running route will not be congested. Dogs must be on leash and under control at all times.
Aid Stations:
There will be two locations that will serve runners at various stages during the race. 1 at Man in the Mountain and 2 on Steady Brook Drive. Aid stations will only have BOTTLED Water. Please plan accordingly.

Fall Classic Map
5 km & 10 km routes start / finish at the Marble Mountain turn around. Runners head out onto Steady Brook drive. The turn around points are boldly spray painted on the road!
Complete Run Package:
If you registered as one of the first 15 you will receive your hat at bib pick up. All medals have been ordered and will be available about ONE WEEK after the event. Race organizers will deliver / mail your medal based on your address you used for registering.
Donations:
We are collecting used sneakers for organizations in our community. If you would like to bring a pair for donation please drop them off at the registration table in a plastic bag.
Thank you to everyone who donated online to our charities: Willow House, SPCA, and YMCA Strong kids. You can still donate on the day of the event. We will post totals when the online event closes.
Registration is still OPEN! Virtual event registration will continue up until 1 week after the in person event.
We can’t wait to see you at the start line on Sunday!

You heard that right – we’re here for BEER! The Corner Brook Running Club is partnering with Veitch Physiotherapy and Wellness and Bootleg Brew Co. to combine running and beer.
Registration will include a limited 2020 Bootleg Brew Co & Corner Brook Running Club Pint glass & a pint of beer. More info to follow! This is a 19 plus event.
In PERSON Race details :
Participants will start at the Goodhouse Building parking lot across the road from Bootleg Brew Co make their way down West Street St., turn right on to Main Street and then continue to merge onto Riverside Drive. Runners will circle the Port Authority Building (counter clockwise) One lap = 5 km; and Two laps = 10 km.
Feeling tired? Hot? Need a beer? If you sign up for the 10 km you can opt out after the first lap and complete just the 5 km run.
6 pm for 5 km and 7 pm for 10 km start with each runner being given their own start time (30s apart). Timing will be chip time (not gun time).
VIRTUAL option:

3. Complete our google form to be included in race results
4. Pick up your pint of beer at Bootleg Brew Co during regular hours.

Start 2020 on the RIGHT foot with the YMCA 5 km Resolution Run! This is free and untimed event sponsored by the YMCA. Meet at the YMCA on January 1st. The run will start at 1:00 from the YMCA and run out Griffin Drive.

The Counter Balance Conditioning and Fitness Annual Christmas Run will be held Sunday, December 15 starting at 2:00 PM. Participants are asked to meet at the Counter Balance Conditioning and Fitness Gym in the Valley Mall.
Please wear your Santa Claus hat and join in the holiday fun. This will be an untimed, four kilometre fun run. Treats will be provided at Counterbalance after the run.
The route will be as follows: After starting at Counterbalance participants will proceed to Main Street then taking a right on to West Street. At the top of West Street participants will cross over Park Street to Cobb Lane. Participants will then proceed up up Cobb Lane and exit on to lower Elswick Road and then take a right on to O’Connell Drive up to Mt. Bernard Avenue. Once on Mt. Bernard Avenue participants will proceed down it to the Counter Balance gym.

The annual Brooks Construction 11Km Run to Remember will be held on Monday, November 11 beginning at 1:00 PM. Registration for this event will be done in the foyer of City Hall beginning at 12:30 PM. Registration is free. This event will not have electronic timing.
Run and/or walk to pay respect for all who have served for this great country of ours.
Participants are invited to partake in the refreshments which will be served after the race in the foyer of City Hall.

The Fall Classic registration is open! There are options for 5 km / 10 km / 21.2 km. There is a ”just run” option and a “complete run package” for each distance. This year’s swag includes a finishers medal & a blue technical running hat with the CBRC logo on it.
Complete Run Package includes: race registration, technical running ball cap and finishers medal. This option is only available until September 13.
Just Run option includes race registration only.
The half marathon route starts at Marble Mountain, heads out on the TCH towards the Man in the Mountain, then crosses the overpass and circles back onto the highway. Once back in Steady Brook runners will run approximately 6km down Marble Drive before returning to Marble Mountain to complete 21.1 km route.
Participants entering the 10km event will run from Marble Mountain down Marble Drive and back. A map of the course can be seen at https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z613x67Y2dNg.kxnJ6gaQevUA&usp=sharing.

The run will be held on Wednesday, August 21 beginning at 6:00PM.
Race registration will be capped at 50 participants. Don’t delay – register today! Your $30 race registration ($25 for CBRC members) includes a limited-edition Bootleg Brew Co / CBRC Pint Glass AND a complimentary post run beer of your choosing. This is a 19 plus event.
Participants will start at the Goodhouse Building parking lot across the road from Bootleg Brew Co make their way down West Street St., turn right on to Main Street and then continue to merge onto Riverside Drive. Registration is now open for the 2019 BMO Corner Brook Downtown Dash. This 5 kilometre run, which is held in the downtown area of Corner brook is for runners of all ages and abilities. Register early as only 250 participants will be accepted and to ensure that you get the correct size BMO DTD T-shirt. Register as an individual or as part of a “Corporate Team” challenge. This event will also have a 0.5 km run for younger children and a 2.5km run for the older children.
